Tired of having to remember every tag for every special mode that you want to use with Audiosurf on your songs?

Tired of having to write long tags such as "[as-everybodymono]" everytime you want to use a special mode?

Well, then Audiosurf Code Generator is the solution for you! Just write (or paste) the title of the song you want to tag, check the desired modes, copy the tagged title, modify the ID3 (yes, you still have to manually edit that) and you're ready to go!

Preview:

Minimum requirements:
· Windows XP
· .Net Framework 2.0

Recommended specs:
· Windows Vista (just because you don't need .Net Framework then)

Changelog:
1.0
· First release! =D

1.1
· Added Percentage of white/black blocks, which was missing
· When you deselect a mode, it will delete the tag automatically
· Made the Code textbox read-only, you still can select it's text and copy it manually (anyway, it's faster to use the Copy button), you just can't edit it
· Now if you modify the title of the song with some checkboxes selected, it will keep the tags
· When you click the Copy button, it will organize the tags to match the code order automatically before sending the text to the clipboard

This is awesome. Everything except the part about manually adding the tags. But it's still better than having to type the [] every time Smiley

EDIT: when you deselect something, it doesn't delete it in the bottom. Not as bad as having to type [] every time, but could be fixed Smiley

Thanks for this! I figure it that it was gonna be question of time for someone to make this... Still, I think Dylan HAS to put this on the interface of the game.

@LeFail: Yes, I knew about that, I'm working on it right now...

@RobotWillie: Oops, sorry, my bad. I'm adding it right now...

@sebigut: Yeah, this is more like a work-around until we finally get our in-game interface...

possibly put what each code is next to it's description?  i mean, this would make it easier because then if you had put stuff in a song and forgot what each did, you would just have to look at this program.

Hmm, yeah, I could add a tooltip that shows up with the tag everytime you put the mouse over the description...

Type the original title of your song in the box at the top, check the modes you want to use (by checking the checkboxes). Finally copy the title in the bottom box over the original title in your song's ID3 tag.

Should just use BASS's Tags module and edit the mp3 directly for you. I might make one of these myself.
